Sylar's gone wonky

10:03 PM 3/23/09 · I've maintained, literally since the very beginning of the Heroes series, that Mr. Muggles is the most insidious evil of that particular reality. It's just that other shoe that has as yet not been dropped.

I even have a list of reasons:

One of them is very basic but it's possible I could be wrong about it. So, if you'd clarify a particular issue I'm having, is Mr. Muggles the only dog in the series? For that matter, have you seen other pets anywhere in the Heroes universe? Any animals at all?

Little fluffy bastard probably ate them.
9:08 PM 3/23/09 · I'm watching Heroes right now, 1st commercial break, and I can't wait to see what's going to to go down this time. There's already been a few surprises...

...and it's not even XMAS yet.

I've been wondering something regarding Sylar. Since the previous chapter we know that he can use his power the way Peter used to be able to if he can establish an emotional connection with someone. That kid with the microwave projection power, whose name I'm blanking on at the moment, hung with Sylar for a bit. If they cover it in tonight's episode I may put this bit in an LJ·cut, or remove it altogether depending, but do you think they became comfortable enough with each other that Sylar has his power now even though he didn't kill the kid?

Ha ha ha, I was right!Collapse )

8:20 PM 3/10/09 · Fairly early in the series we are introduced to a woman who had the power of illusion...whose, short of looking it up, name I don't recall. Roundabout the 2nd season, or chapter if you prefer, The Company tried to use her to gain control of Sylar but he instead killed her to take her power.

That didn't go so wellCollapse )

...not that there's anything wrong with that.

8:03 PM 9/22/08 · The funny thing about Heroes is the actors. I'm watching the opening bit right now and Masi Oka (that's Hiro's real name, right?) is doing the intro. Funny thing about him, and a lot of them, is that I didn't see much of them before this.

I think.

Y'know Star Trek: Voyager? The guy that played Chakotay...I didn't recognize him when the series started but the more I watched I flashed on inconsequential roles I had seen him in years earlier. One thing on Skinimax, which is quite funny seeing as he lost a bet and had to sleep with another guy, and a Chuck Norris film even further back than that...

...and thinking about that I look to Heroes and try to do the same.

For the most part it's the guy that plays Peter. Pretty sure I first saw him on Gilmore Girls and I've got sketchy memories of other things. I know he was in the last Rocky film too but I never saw that. Kinda like as it is with all of them...though there's a few I've never seen in anything else.

It would probably be easier if I wasn't going just by memory...but where's the fun in that? Sure, I could pop online and get their whole acting histories if I wanted to. That's too easy and that's what I'd like you not to do answering the following questions:

  • Who on Heroes have you seen in other things?

  • Did you remember the moment you first saw them or did it take a bit into the series before it clicked?

  • Try to keep your answers to things you saw before Heroes aired.
